Schools

The majority of students who live in Carrollton attend Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District.  Dallas ISD and Lewisville ISD are also represented within the city of Carrollton.

Indian Creek Golf Course – Rated among the top public golf courses in the Dallas – Ft. Worth Metroplex, Indian Creek Golf Club offers 36 Holes of championship golf. The two distinctly different 18-hole courses are situated along the Trinity River in the northern Dallas suburb of Carrollton.

El Fork Nature PreserveOak Creek Tennis Center – Oak Creek Tennis Center is a public facility located in Carrollton, Texas. OCTC features 12 lighted hard courts with shaded spectator and court benches. Our pro shop includes racquets, stringing, accessories and concessions. The City of Carrollton prides itself as having one of the premier full-service municipal tennis facilities in North Texas.

Elm Fork Nature Preserve – The Elm Fork Nature Preserve was purchased as a woodright in 1861 by the Bramblitt Family. The land was never clear-cut and in 1986 the 40 acres were given to the City of Carrollton as a self-contained ecosystem, virtually undisturbed. Trails are open for hikes 365 days a year from dawn to dusk.
